Pumpkin Carving at The Fire Station Café

Pumpkin carving is coming to café! Join Kristine and the team on Friday 30th October, from 4pm to 6pm for a family friendly session. Drop in with the family, grab a pumpkin and let them carve away to their heart’s content. Best of all, the pumpkin guts end up on our tables, not your kitchen floor.

How does the drop-in session work?

There’s nothing to book. Just turn up any time between 4pm and 6pm, pay £7 for each carver and we’ll hand over everything they need. Find a table, settle in and let the kids get stuck in. Stay for half an hour or the full two; it all depends on how ambitious the design gets.

What’s included?

Every £7 carver gets a pumpkin to carve, a child-friendly carving kit and a children’s hot chocolate.

A prize for the most creative pumpkin

We’ll be giving a prize to the most creative pumpkin of the evening. Spooky, silly or downright strange, every idea is in the running. Classic toothy grins are always welcome, but this is the moment for something nobody else on Queens Road has thought of. Judging will take place at 6pm, but no worries if you have to leave before that. We’ll snap a picture of each pumpkin and reach out to the winner.

Finding The Fire Station Café

You’ll find The Fire Station Café inside Huddle Wimbledon, set in the old fire station on Queens Road and a short walk from Wimbledon station, with access from inside Wimbledon Quarter on the Ground Level.

Pop it in the diary, bring the kids and leave the mess to us. See you on the 30th!

T&Cs: This is a drop-in, self-service pumpkin carving session. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, including while using carving tools. £7 per carver, payable on arrival and subject to availability. The prize for the most creative pumpkin is awarded at our discretion and cannot be exchanged. Pumpkin availability while stocks last.
