Join us at the Evolving Wimbledon Conference this October!
We’re excited to be sponsoring the Evolving Wimbledon Conference, taking place on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at the Polka Theatre. This event is a unique opportunity for key local stakeholders to come together and shape the future of Wimbledon’s Town Centre.
Why attend?
Wimbledon is undergoing exciting changes. Footfall and spend on the high street has rebounded and outperformed pre-pandemic levels. New businesses are opening and locating here every month, increasing the diversity of leisure and hospitality offerings. New and transformed workspaces are attracting businesses, drawn by Wimbledon’s excellent connectivity and easy access from central London and Surrey.
This conference is the perfect platform to discuss the vision for its growth whilst maintaining the area’s status as a sought after workplace location and destination. With over 200 stakeholders attending, you’ll have the chance to connect, share ideas, and explore investment opportunities that will impact our vibrant community.
Don’t miss out!
Our very own Alex Woolf, Huddle’s COO, will be speaking on the “Flexibility, Growth and Development – Wimbledon’s Workplaces” panel at 9:50am, alongside other industry experts and thought leaders including Russell Glover from Peldon Rose, Michael Adewole from Fletcher Priest Architects and Councillor Eleanor Stringer, Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Civic Pride at Merton Council.
The session will dive into innovative strategies for fostering flexibility and growth in the ever-evolving landscape of Wimbledon. SMEs form the vast majority of Wimbledon’s office occupiers, who are drawn by the office clusters which allow for growth and expansion. Major corporates have also traditionally chosen Wimbledon as their base and the town is also home to a number of entrepreneurs. The panel will showcase workspaces under development and highlight the opportunities they present to a range of occupiers.
