Gathering Momentum: A bold new mural comes to Huddle Hammersmith

At Huddle, our spaces are designed to inspire collaboration and the latest addition to our walls —a mural titled Gathering Momentum—is a visual celebration of coworking itself.

Installed at Huddle Hammersmith in the reception area, the mural is the creation of talented designer, Nick Misani.

The story behind Gathering Momentum

Nick’s mural is more than just decoration—it’s a representation of the energy that fills creative spaces, such as Huddle. We asked Nick to describe the piece in his own words:

“Gathering Momentum is all about the energy that fills creative spaces. The mix of vibrating colours and bold marks captures how ideas naturally flow and grow when individuals come together. Sometimes, the creative process is intense and powerful, like the tornado-like shape in the centre, and other times it’s about reaching out and collaborating, represented by the arched branching lines.”

Whether you’re deep in focus on a project or engaging in lively brainstorming sessions with colleagues, this artwork mirrors the flow of ideas, innovation, and collaboration. Meanwhile, the arched, branching lines remind us of the connections we make when we reach out to share and build on one another’s ideas.

About the artist

Nick Misani is a creative force whose work blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Born in Milan, Nick’s artistic foundation began with his study of architecture and industrial design at the Liceo Artistico Bruno Munari in Crema, Italy. His journey then took him to Japan and New York City, where he honed his skills, earning an MFA in Communications Design from the prestigious Pratt Institute.

Nick’s career has seen him contribute to iconic brands like Apple, Air BnB, The New York Times and Vanity Fair, as well as literary powerhouses such as Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster. After nearly a decade working in New York, he relocated to Paris to lead WeWork’s Art & Graphics team for France and Southern Europe.
