International Women’s Day: Sip & Paint at Huddle Wimbledon
Join us for a special International Women’s Day Sip & Paint event on Friday 6th March at 2pm in our Fire Station Boardroom. This creative workshop is designed to celebrate women’s achievements and mark an important global movement.

What Is International Women’s Day?
International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on 8th March. It recognises the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women worldwide while highlighting the continued push for gender equality.
Originating in the early 20th century, International Women’s Day remains a global call to action for equal rights, representation and opportunity. It is both a celebration of progress and a reminder of the work still to be done. Our Sip & Paint event offers a creative way to take part.
Draw An Inspirational Woman
During this session, you’ll create a portrait of a woman who inspires you.
This could be:
- A historical figure
- A public leader or creative
- A family member

Please bring a photo of your chosen woman for reference. Having it on your phone is absolutely fine.
This personal element makes the experience more meaningful and ensures you leave with artwork that reflects empowerment and inspiration.
No painting experience is required. The session is open to everyone who wants to mark International Women’s Day in a supportive and welcoming environment.
What’s Included
- Portrait drawing session
