The Fire Station Cafe Named Finalist in the Merton Best Business Awards 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that The Fire Station Café at Huddle Wimbledon has been named as a finalist in the Merton Best Business Awards 2025, in the category Best New Business.

This award, organised be The Merton Chamber of Commerce, honours standout ventures launched within the past two years that have quickly made their mark through strong growth, community engagement and a bold vision for the future.

From our very first flat white to our last slice of cake each day, we’ve aimed to create more than just a café, we’ve wanted to create a warm, welcoming space for the Huddle community and beyond.

Being shortlisted is an incredible recognition of our team’s hard work and the support of our amazing customers.

We’re equally proud to share that The Rooftop Farm Wimbledon, an initiative of our base Wimbledon Quarter, has also been shortlisted. This time for Best Environmentally and Socially Responsible Business. They continue to turn heads (and sprout greens) right in the heart of Wimbledon, with their produce sold in the cafe too!

The Merton Best Business Awards celebrate innovation, resilience, and contribution across the borough, from Wimbledon to Mitcham to Morden, and we’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many inspiring local businesses.

The winners will be announced later this year — until then, a huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey so far.
