Remembrance Day Poppy Workshop
Take time this November to pause, reflect, and honour Remembrance Day with a creative and meaningful activity.
Join us for the Remembrance Day Poppy Workshop at Huddle Hammersmith, where members can design and make their own jewellery: a personal keepsake to symbolise remembrance.

Whether you’re a beginner or enjoy jewellery-making, this session is open to all. It’s a wonderful way to spend time being creative while marking an important day of remembrance.
Remembrance Day, observed each year on 11th November, marks the end of World War I and pays tribute to those who have served and sacrificed in conflicts around the world. It’s a moment to reflect on bravery, endurance, and the lasting impact of those who gave their lives for others.
The Story Behind the Poppy
The red poppy, first inspired by John McCrae’s poem “In Flanders Fields,” has become a timeless symbol of remembrance and peace. Its vivid colour stands for hope, compassion and the shared promise never to forget.
Everyone is welcome – no reservation required, just drop in and take part in this special Huddle community event. Create something beautiful, take a moment of reflection, and honour Remembrance Day in a way that’s both heartfelt and hands-on.
