Sound Bath at Huddle Hammersmith
Give your mind a well-earned pause from your inbox. On Wednesday 18th November at 1pm, join Emma in the library for a calming sound bath meditation, the perfect antidote to a busy week.
A sound bath is a form of meditation where you relax and let sound do the work. Instead of focusing on your breathing or trying to clear your head, you simply sit or lie back and let the layers of sound and vibration wash over you. It’s a gentle way to slow down, release tension and reset before heading back to your desk.
You don’t need any meditation experience, and there’s no right or wrong way to take part. Just come as you are, get comfortable and switch off for a while. Comfortable clothes are a good idea, and you might want to leave your phone on silent (we promise your emails will still be there afterwards).

A few things to know about sound baths:
- Despite the name, there’s no water involved. The only thing you’ll be bathed in is sound
- Sound baths often use instruments such as singing bowls, gongs and chimes
- Many people find that focusing on sound makes it easier to quieten a busy mind than sitting in silence
- Some people drift off completely, and that’s perfectly fine
So, whether you’re feeling frazzled, curious or simply in need of a midweek breather, take some time out for yourself.
